Jeff Simpson spent the first 23 years of his working career in law enforcement and security management positions. Simpson served as a Deputy Sheriff in Oregon County Missouri and then become Chief of Police in Alton Missouri for 9.5 years. After leaving law enforcement he served as Director of Campus Safety and Security at Drury University in Springfield Missouri. Simpson after 12 years at Drury University in Springfield left in 2002 to open a Private Investigation and Process service business for all counties in Missouri. In addition, Simpson has worked inside and shared office space with a 5 attorney criminal defense law firm at Lake Ozark Missouri, worked with and shared office space with one of the top domestic attorneys in St. Charles County Missouri, and investigated all accident claims for Safe Auto Insurance Company statewide in Indiana.

Simpson in the last 10 years has focused his work primarily on criminal defense, locating witnesses and conducting interviews, death investigations, and working on homicides and sex offense investigations for the Missouri public defenders office, private attorneys, and individuals. 

In addition to his extensive experience in investigation and management Simpson is a graduate of the University of Missouri Law Enforcement training academy, Drury University, and has specialized training in criminal law, arson investigation, domestic violence, narcotics investigations, medicolegal death investigations,  witness interviewing, white-collar crime, court testimony, report writing and has completed and advance course in insurance accident investigations. 

Simpson is a former instructor for nonviolent crisis intervention, a past member of the Missouri Police Chiefs Association and Campus Law enforcement Administrators Association. 

Simpson is licensed by the Missouri Division of professional registration as a private investigator in Missouri.
